The **Integrated Development Environment** on your phone/tablet  is where you can create the code for your app, edit the code, debug it, run it etc.

The IDE is all you really need to use DroidScript but you may also benefit from the free **[[wifi_ide|Wi-fi IDE]]** which will allow you to take advantage of the browser on a larger device such as a PC to make editing easier.

The other major extra is a paid-for plugin, the **[[plugins:apk_builder|APK builder]]** which will allow you to create stand-alone apps that you can share with your friends or distribute/sell on Google Play.
